Re: 3 Weeks Bleeding, Lupron shot this week, Major Mood Swings

Thanks Holly.

Yesterday was a bad day for me - a lot of uncontrollable crying and depression. I know my doctor said my mood swings might go haywire with the Lupron shot I had on Monday.

I know the depression is definitely linked to hormones because today I am feeling better. I did have a little something to drink last night to help me calm down and go to sleep. I don't do that very often unless I have severe pain or I am emotional.

I am going to see about trying some of the meds you mentioned. I have Wellbutrin, but I tried taking it for fatigue. I think the Wellbutrin should help when I am feeling depressed. I'll ask my doctor about Premarin. The longest I have ever bled was for 2 months, and I hope this bleeding spell doesn't last that long. I seem to bleed when switching BCP or meds. Maybe the Lupron has caused longer bleeding?

Holly, thank you for your help and assurance. I feel much better now. Thanks :)
