In reply to: anonymous: "Re: 3 Weeks Bleeding, Lupron shot this week, Major Mood Swings" Next in thread: Sherry: "Re: 3 Weeks Bleeding, Lupron shot this week, Major Mood Swings" Reply: Sherry: "Re: 3 Weeks Bleeding, Lupron shot this week, Major Mood Swings" i did get severely depressed while i was on lupron. i wanted to die, but i didn't have the energy to do anything about it. my doctor raised my zoloft dose and gave me wellbutrin. i also saw a counselor to get me through the shots. i also had bleeding for about 7 weeks. finally my doctor gave me some premarin, and it stopped the bleeding. of course, it brought pain with it for some reason. definitely talk to your doctor about the depression. mine told me it was okay and that i wasn't going nuts. he said when you lose estrogen so fast, it can cause some kind of imbalance or something. i don't remember all that he said. but just the reassurance from him that i wasn't crazy helped a lot. that and the meds. he did ask if i had suicidal thoughts, and i lied and said no. i kind of wish i hadn't lied, but i was worried he'd send me to a psych hosp. the counselor helped a lot though.
