Am I going crazy? Sorry - a little long (im new!)

Hi! Im new to this site, but so far very happy that I have found it! I was diagnosed about 5 years ago with endometriosis...it wasnt a huge surprise. I have been fortunate enough (or stubborn enough) to not have gone through any surgery yet, and have been offered, but too scared to take Lupron...etc...I've read some of the postings, and I think that I have been in denial over this condition and have not done my research enough, because I can relate to so much of it, but never thought that it was attributed to this. I am one of the people, who does have pain all month long, getting worse around the time of my period. My question is that during my period, and only during my period,I tend to have these incredible mood swings. Anything from a massive depression with unstoppable crying to an uncontrollable obssesive feeling - almost like a drug addict needing a fix of something. I never related these moods to my "condition" until a few days ago when a health professional suggested it. I just thought that I was going crazy and basically insane and losing control over myself. Has anyone else out there experienced this, and is there any way to control it without being put on medication (anxiety, mood etc) all the time?? Is this normal??? Or am I just going crazy? I would appreciate ANY advice!
