An option other than Seasonale

Just got back from the gyn for my 6 week follow-up after my daughters birth. Told him I didnt like what I had heard about seasonale (thanks to all your helpful comments) and would prefer orthocept (it at least kept mine from getting worse too fast) but didnt want a period each month. He told me to take the orthocept for 28 days straight just like seasonale. There is nothing special about Seasonale that allows you to take it for so long - just a regular pill that they packaged differently and got approcval for. SO, if you ahve a pill you like, ask your doc for a new prescription to take it 84 days straight!
