hello, I've had endo for about 1 year now and I've been taking pain meds for about 1 1/2 and honestly I wish I hadn't. I've never done drugs or drank alcohol and I got addicted. I wish that I had just stuck it out regardless on how bad the pain was. My advice to you is start off with something little. Try vicodin and just take it when the pain is severe. Because whether you think so or not your body will become dependant on them and you'll need more and more to ease the pain. Maybe it dones't have to be narcotics maybe something else. Just wanted to give you some feed back. Take care - stacy
