Zoladex

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum so I apologise in advance if this question has been asked time and time again. After 20 or so years being told I had IBS I have recently found out due to a 6cm cyst being operated on that in fact I have endometriosis. This came as a shock but it all fell into place with symtpoms I'd been having since my late teens. My specialist has decided to put me on 6 months of Zoladex (3.6) and Livial, I started last week. What I was wondering was are any of you using this treatment and if so how are you finding it? I was a bit scared reading all the possible side affects that can happen due to the menopause state that zoladex puts you in. What I was also wondering is how long were you on it before you had any (if any) side affects. Being that I only had the first injection last Thursday and today is Monday I guess its too early for it to be in my system. Mind you I am hoping this means I wont be getting any side affects but that could be wishful thinking!! Any info anyone has would be really appreciated, I find it hard as I don't have anyone to talk to about this as people just don't understand.

Thanks for listening. Leanne
