Re: ENDO PAIN AND RECTAL PAINFrom: rachel (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun Feb 27 18:47:05 2005
hi jamie, You said youve been in menopause for 8 years is this brought on by the drugs to control the endo, partial hyst., or your ovaries just not wanting to function right? I ask because i've often wondered lately if one of my ovaries is trying to give up. I'm 28 by the way. I'm presently not on any drug therapies for the endo. but i as well have tried everything and the dr's say do a hyst. i've been having hot flashes, night sweats, irritability, mood swings, low fevers, and now it seems for the second time in 6 months i'm skipping a period. I'm not pregnant (I dont have any tubes they were removed last march during a lapo for the endo). I was making excuses for these things until i didnt start on thursday. I know other ladies on here experience many of these symptoms as well so i was brushing it off as a side effect of the endo. but man the hot flashes today have been terrible. The last time i had them this bad i was on lupron and that was almost 2 years ago. Last jan. when i seen the dr in maryland for the first time she was concerned about my left ovary cause in the ultrasound i looked collapsed but she looked at it during the lapo and said it was fine it must have just been the way she was viewing it or something. How do i know if my bodies going into menopause early? Rachel
