Re: Lupron for extended time, side effects and long term problems

Sunday, 2/27/05... I am the mother of a 15 year old girl who I think has endometriosis. They are recommending Lupron, without a laperoscopy, to see if it helps. Severe stomach pain, bad cramps at period, at ovulation, and latelly all the time. Pain when she eats, pain with bowel movements. She's been treated for IBS for years, but getting worse.

How are you now? Looking back, how was Lupron, and did it help? Side effects?

Thanks...
