I was diagnosed with Stage IV endometriosis 5 years ago and had a total hysterectomy almost three years ago in my early 20's. I wanted you to know that no one's endo pain feels identical and that having a total hysterectomy will not necesserally end your pain. I am now, for the first time, researching this disease and have learned that they need to remove all of the endo so that your chances that the disease will return is dimished. I am facing another surgery to remove new growth because I had an older, less researched doctor.

I truly hope your doctor's office got in touch with you, I hate the long waits as well. i do commend you for finding sites with information this early on, I wish I had.... Best wishes!
