Hello - I have a strong interest in finding out how emotional factors can influence our pain with endometriosis. I am a strong believe that there is a connection between the two - from my own personal experience with endometriosis, severe stress, and two surgeries that just seemed way too close together. I've held this belief ever since that second surgery and now that I'm in graduate school, have decided to research a thesis about it. I've developed a personal survey to ask those with endometriosis about the extent of their symptoms and medical experiences. I also have another survey to ask participants about their problem solving skills. If you would like to participate in this study, I'd be happy to send you these surveys as attachments - and you can email the completed versions back to me. You would definitely be helping promote more research on this topic! (What a great thing to do!) If you're interested, please drop me a line with your email address and I will get back to you asap!!
