I had the lap on Wed and I am now at home recovering. I have stage 4 endo. My right ovary and tube are fine but my left ovary, tube, bowel, etc on the left side are all stuck together like on big mass. The dr. would like for me to make a choice.. either for her to open me up fully, take out all the endo and wrap my ovaries and tubes in some sort of cheese cloth stuff to minimize scarring... OR I can have agressive therapy with hormones (luprin) and whatever to stop my periods until the time I would like to get pregnant. I am not ready to have any children yet but I certainly would like to have some on the future. Right now I can't afford children and it wouldn't be right for me to bring on into the world just because I might not be able to later. Right now, I just want to feel better and get rid of all this endo.
