The short answer to your question is absolutely, 100% NO. Lupron does not cure endo. Nothing does and if your specialist is telling you otherwise you should find another one. As for whether you should do it, that's your choice. You will find hundreds of posts on this board about Lupron, good and bad, but you won't know until you take it. Personally, if I had it to do over again, I would run screaming from the stuff. But again, you have to do your research and make your own choice. I've been on the Lupron and continuous BCP and the only difference I noticed is that the BCP don't have the side effects (I personally believe that I will pay for having taken it for the rest of my life- there isn't enought known about the long term effects IMHO). If you decide to do it, it's very important that you take steps to prevent bone loss, which is something a lot of people on this board suffer with. Good luck with your decision and I hope everything works out for you.
