Call your surgeon's office and let them know. They will decide whether your period will interfere in any way.

Some surgeons will go ahead, others will not. The fact that you are having a D & C will probably mean they will go ahead but please, call and let your doctor know.

Same for if you develop a cold, stomach upset, etc. All of these things can create a set of circumstances that could lead to an undesired outcome.
