Re: Prostap (or Lupron in the USA)

It is quite clear from Anne's message and a whole batch of others in the
past few weeks that she/they did not read or at the very least did not
remember the information about the drug therapy she is currently
undergoing. That is just plain irresponsible. Would you get in a car
with someone not knowing much about them or if they could even drive?
People are more cautious about the food they feed their pets than they
are about the things they put in their bodies.
A few weeks ago there was a ridiculous thread going where there was an
actual argument, contest really, trying to determine who had endo worse
than someone else - good grief! Endo is endo and it's not good to have.
PERIOD. We've got it, now what are we going to do about it? Continue
going from doctor to doctor trying to find the magic pill that makes it
all go away? Not going to happen, not in my lifetime, probably not in
your lifetime either so next best thing to do is share real life tried
and true practical information of what we each do that helps so that
next time you are having a bad day you can come here, look it up and
give it a try yourself and who knows, you might get lucky and it helps.
And then continue reading the research studies, participate in clinical
trials, keep logs and diaries, communicate with each other, our doctors,
the assocations, legislators and try to get some reasearch money steered
away from the "glamour funds" towards real health issues.
And just in case anyone read between the lines of the term "glamour
funds". Breast Cancer is a serious disease but it is not THE most
serious disease that the fundraiser companies would like you to think. I
wonder how much money goes to the corporate administrators of these
companies??? Heart Disease is the #1 killer of women, do you know your
blood pressure? do you know the warning signs? Lung cancer is #2, Stroke
#3.... read, learn, educate yourself then educate others.
