Is anyone familiar with endo in the joints? I know this is rare, but I think I may possibly have it. I have been diagnosed with lupus, however, I am not sure I have it. My main complaint is joint pain which increases dramatically the week before and especially during my period. The difference is too dramatic and severe to just be a coincidence. (I have 15 year history of endo....that just keeps coming back.) It first started slightly with my period a few years ago. The pain is now chronic in basically all my joints. When I have my period it is as if my joints are on fire. I was hospitalized for peptic ulcers, so I am unable to take anything for the cramps. (I do take some herbal preparations though.) I have taken lupron twice (5 years apart)and both times ended up in the hospital. I can't take hormone therapies such as the pill due to a clotting disorder (part of the lupus thing). I am miserable. I mentioned to my doc about endo being in my joints but he said that would be extremely rare and dropped it.... Anyone else have these symptoms? Please help!
