Hi everyone!! I posted a note a few days before this on my effects of Ovcon 35. My doctor in south Florida put me on this and told me it was a old but very good and effective bc/endo drug and I should not have any problems. Boy was she wrong!!! I had been on Ortho Cyclen for 5 years before that which only the last year had the endo present it's ugly head. Tried only taking the active pills and skipping the "blanks"....i bleed for 10 misserable weeks. She said it was "Breakthrough" bleeding but I was using about 5-6 tampons a day so...Anyway I started Ovcon 35 in september. I can definately say it is a very effective BC pill....I lost all of my sex drive..the very thought of sex was repulsive to me. I had never had this problem before. My poor fiance went from 3-4 times a weeks to lucky for once a month. The moods were unbearable for me and him and anyone who crossed my path. I cried at everything. I didn't gain weight according the scale but I am bloated and my clothes don't fit at all. Acne like i'm 13 again! Got a new doctor last month gave option of Depo Provera or differnet pill. He was leaning toward Depo but left if up to me. We decided to try Ortho Tri Cyclen since I had good result from the plain Ortho Cyclen. I've been on this for only 2 weeks so I can't really say if it's "working" but I don't have any bleeding, "desire" is about the same but a little early to tell. Face has cleared up pretty well compaired to previous months. So far so good will probably try for another month and see what happens. Sorry so long but I hope this helps.
