I am 30 and have been trying to conceive for a year. I just went to a fertility doctor who is talking about putting me on fertility drugs that contain estrogen, which I know prompts endometrial growth. I found out I had endometriosis last February when I suddenly had extremely severe menstrual pain and was diagnosed with a ruptured cyst. I had to have a laparotomy because the cyst was so big. Now, less than a year later, I have 2 cysts on my other ovary that will need to come out, but this time we think a laparoscopy will work, thank goodness. Anyway, my doctor wants to start me on fertility drugs after the lap. Does this sound safe or will the extra estrogen cause more cysts?
