Discharge-- 1 week later

Hey all- Well here I am 1 week after surgery and I am still having a thickish brown discharge. The paperwork that I was sent home with after surgery said it should only last a few days, and to only be worried if I was going through more than 1 pad an hour. I am not. However, it is becoming a bot worrisome. Also, at first I was really excited that it felt like the endo pain itself was completely gone, but now that I am not on any meds, I am not so sure. Still feels like there is a "trapped" feeling behind my left ovary. The doc did say there were fibroids behind my left ovary and that she just left them there, minus one that she removed to be sent to the lab to make sure it is ok. Other than that she said the rest of my insides were crystal clear. How soon can endo come back after a lazer removal, realistically? Also, does anyone else have swollen glands constantly with their endo? There is one lymph node in the left side of my neck that is constantly swollen and sore and the pain travels to my ear at times. This has been going on at the same time as my worst endo pain started (March of 04). And I have a tendency to run a low grade fever as well. At first I was ignored about the gland and eventually the docs said I had an infection (that they waited 2 1/2-3 months to treat) and had to go on 2 different progressive antibiotics to "clear" up. Except I don't think it ever really went away. I want to thank you for all your help. I am hoping to get back to work this week (WHOO HOO) but want to be 100% before going back. I don't think they wil be so supportive a second time around. Thank you, Kari (starr214@adelphia.net)
