Dear Jenna and others with "mystery" pelvic pain,
OBGYN.net has a Pelvic Pain section with some really good articles and FAQs to help you communicate with your doctor more effectively. http://www.obgyn.net/cpp/cpp.asp
There is an article containing printouts for you to use when speaking with your doctor and trying to explain your pelvic pain, a task that seems to be bafflingly difficult. It is called "Chronic Pelvic Pain Diagnosis and Management" and was written by James E. Carter, MD, PhD. You can find it here:

Several women have responded after reading this article that it did help them more accurately describe the location of the pain, it wasn't always where they thought it was, and reach resolutions for it.
