my second lap was excision. i actually had a quicker recovery than i thought i would. it took me a week to feel better after the regular laser cautery. but i was feeling great the next day after excision. i think it's because i was in lots of pain to begin with. so since the source of pain was removed, i felt awesome.

good luck. you'll probably have wonderful results. i was mostly painfree for over a year. :)
