-- Hi Kathy, Please make sure you have done everything you possible can before you do this. I had my hyst in feb they took the uterus and cervex, and I have more pain now then I did before my hyst. You are so young I can't beleive your dr would even consider doing this on a 23 year old young woman. Where do you live? There is a Dr in california his name is Dr. cooks that is suppose to be great Dr. I think maybe you should check into it before doing this because I am still in alot of pain so I gained nothing from having this surgery. His website is http://www.vitalcareinstitute.com. His address is 15055 Los Gatos Blvd, Cal his number is 888-256-7705. He is suppose to be able to get all the endo out, maybe they can help you. Good luck keep us posted. Take care Pam
