It is true. Blocked fallopian tubes CAN be a result of an STD. Blocked fallopian tubes are NOT always caused by an STD. Please read this page: It's a long url so make sure you get everything between the << and >>

It is true that when you have sex with someone you are exposed to any and everything they were exposed to from the people they have had sex with before you. It is also true that your sister could have just as easily gotten this from her husband on her wedding night, would your mother still be so harshly judgmental and cruel?

I don't presume to know all about you, your sister and your mother and the relationship between the three of you but I would certainly be standing up to my mother and appealing to her more maternal side to show a little kindness and compassion to her daughter. I mean, whatever the cause of this, your mother really should not be treating your sister this way. It would be really sad if your mother would find herself having little or no relationship with her grandchildren as a result of her cruelty.
