Re: blocked fallop tubes- cause??From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Jan 27 16:40:14 2005
Sharon, Endometriosis can cause your fallopian tubes to be blocked, but the doctor would have seen the endo there. If the doctor said it is from an STD, he is probably right. Untreated STDs can lead to PID, which cause scarring that can lead to infertility. And your sister doesn't necessaraly have to have been the promiscuous one. Even if she has only had sex with one person, she also had "sex" with everyone that one person was with. Also, endo doesn't always run in families. I am the only one in my whole family with it, and I have two sisters. If your mother is a Christian, I would point out the scripture where Jesus tells us NOT to judge others. Then, I would be a shoulder for your sister to cry on. Everyone has done things in their lives that they wish they could take back. But the point of life is to learn from that and move on. Not to dwell on it and let it hold you down. There are obstacles in everyone's lives...use them as a stepping stone instead of a stumbling block. God Bless!!
