Re: Intestinal EndoFrom: Lynn (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Jan 27 12:20:32 2005
I have heavy, long periods. The usually is 30-34 day cycles, lasting 7-10 days. I have cramping that puts me to bed on the second and third days and light cramping starting a day or two before and ending about 5 days in. I pass clumps and flood whenever I stand to the point that it makes me light headed for the first 4 days. I have a very large BM the day I start and then don't have another until around day 5. I recently stared having mid-cycle pain. It isn't too bad yet, but it gets worse when I'm not on the pill. It will hurt in my hip and all the way down my right leg making it hard to drive. I get really bad acid reflux and heartburn. For awhile I got in the habit of having several BMs on Sunday and then not going again until Thursday. The doc. thought I had gallstones, but then later got I labeled with IBS. I was told just this week that no matter where my endo is located, that a problem in the pelvic area such as endo. can cause problems from your throat on down. I'm seeing my OBGYN to have the surgery I have been putting off. My Gastro. said that even if I do have IBS on top of the endo., getting rid of the endo. will help a lot. If your doctor says different go to a different doctor. At Sat, 1 Jan 2005, Crystol wrote: > >I haven't been diagnosed with endo yet, but I think I may have >intestinal endo.
