Don't do this, dont go through with the Hysto. It is not the answer. Some Dr.'s think it will be becuse they are still stuck in the stone ages of medcine... A hysto on its own causes much more problems to women that are healthy. HAving endo can make it worse.... You are young, and as bad as estrogen is being to us because it feeds endo, we still need it for our body to keep it developing properly and so on. Having a hysto your dr will still have to put you on HRT to supplement you body so it doesnt lack in these hormomes... Dr's used to think that getting pregnant cured endo, but all it really did was put it into remission because your body isnt using its hormones like it should becuase it is preparing for a baby, once you have the baby, your system kicks back it what its supposed to do and the endo starts growing again.... I understand that in some cases that there can be so much damage that certain organs cannot be slavaged, but that is in extreme EXTREME circumstances and the Dr. is specifically looking at you inside during surgery!!! There are women out there who thought hysto was the way to go and it just made matters worse for themselves.. There are Dr's out there that can save every inch or your inside and out. Check out the endometriosisassn.org There are many helpful things there, even a list of Dr.s all over the U.S. and world that have been helping people with this, not dissecting them. I know there is a Dr. near me in Milwaukee, he was on the news too, the procedure is called EXCISION and its done laporoscapicly and I have read from him and other Dr.s and etc about Excision on how much help it has done for women even when some Dr.s would remove, they have saved.

Please dont give up... I know how hard it is, we all do here. Don't do the Hysto, you may regret it for the rest of your life..... Hang in there!!! At Wed, 26 Jan 2005, K wrote: >
