Re: adenomyosis confirmed after hysterectomyFrom: K (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Jan 26 21:46:56 2005
Melody, i am glad you are OK, please keep us updated on your post surgery condition and anything to help. Did you have any type of Laproscopy surgery before this one? I am scheduled for a surgery and possible hysterectomy. I was told i have an endometrioma on my ovary and endometriosis. Now reading all of your stories i am thinking i might have adenomyosis. My abdomen is so swollen and the dr. said my uterus is swollen during my pre exam. My question is, how difficult is it to remove the endo or adeno during lapro? I just don't want to say yes take it all out for the first time anyone has gone in to look. I'm 38 and have one child and more concerned with the early menopause than fertility at this point. It hurts too much nor im not in the mood for sex!
