My doc. tried to give me pain pills every chance he could. I'm 17 right now and didn't want to be addicted to them. I pretty much had to tell him that the pills weren't going to work. From my experience if you have to beg for a lap, then the doc. isn't good enough for you. I am in the process of looking for a better doc.
