Cheryl, did you get a patient monograph on Lupron? Were you given written information about the drug and it's possible side-effects? If not then you absolutely need to call your doctor's office right now and request it.

You can also go to http://www.rxlist.com and type "Lupron" into the search box and get all of the scientific information as well as the patient monograph and I urge you to print it, keep it and read it thoroughly.

Lupron is a very serious drug that can have long-lasting effects, some good, some not so good and it is your responsibility to educate yourself before taking it.

And yes, weight gain is clearly one of the side-effects as listed in the monograph.

Please search the archives and you will see Lupron as a subject line with this same question asked and answered about every other week.
