-- Hi I'm a 27 year old female diagnosed with endometriosis at 15. After multiple treatments including Lupron and endoscopies I had a child. 4 years later a hyst with removal of right ovary.I later had to have my left removed. The pain improved in regards to bowel movements and exercise but did not improve with intercourse. I felt alone. My husband is very tierd of dealing with the pain, and not having a normal sexual relationship. My doctor reccomended an evaluation for interstial cystitis. He said many women go thru hysterectomies before this is diagnosed. If I had only known, a hysterectomy would not relieve my daily pain. I have excepted this but frustrated. I'm glad I found this web site. It's sad there are so many women out there with this common complaint.
