But why should we just ignore false information? If I posted something that was wrong, I would hope someone who knows more about this disease would post the correct information. Part of the reason that there is no cure for this disease is because of all the false information surrounding it. My doctor told me that getting pregnant would cure my endo, but I was way too young and didn't even have a boyfriend. Had I listened to him, I would still be in pain with a child to take care of!! Instead, I did my research at places that do nothing but research endo, and found out that that is another myth!! Ever since then I have vowed to never let another women believe false information about this disease, as long as I could. If Melissa has proof that her information is true, then I think we should all see it. I think that informing people of the truth is the best way to support eachother. Ignoring false information is not supportive, it is foolish.
