Re: Anyone had lupron and it didn't help the endo? Yasmin? From: Jillian (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Jan 17 13:21:31 2005
The only thing that ever helps my endo is surgery and that's usually temporary. When I had my second lap, my dr wasn't able to laser the endo, so she closed me back up and recommended lupron (my second time). It didn't help at all and I ended up having to have surgery with a specialist who could remove the endo. I have been on cont. bcp for 5 yrs and it keeps coming back. That being said, everyone is different. However, I will never go on lupron again. It damaged my bones and weakened my teeth. I believe I will suffer for being on Lupron for many yrs to come. The only thing I can recommend is to keep trying things until something works for you but you are not alone. Good luck!
