Dear Anon,

I am not sure who you are talking to, the anon who originated this post or Melissa who wrote the lines asking if the originator is a doctor. If you are referring to Melissa's condescending attitude, I cannot help you as I am not her. However, if you are referring to the the anon who originated this post, that is me. First of all let me say that I wrote this message in response to several messages that had been posted over the past few days regarding stage 5 endo. I do not think that it was condescending to point out that there are only 4 stages of endo, because that is the truth. Women are confused enough about this disease without being mislead with wrong information. Secondly, this post was my ONLY post, so I do not know what you mean when you say that you have been noticing this for a while and haven't said anything. There is another on here who regularly posts as anonymous, but that is not me. Thirdly, I didn't belittle anyone who asked a question. I posted a new message stating that there are only 4 stages of endo. I did not even mention anyone's name. Frankly, I don't appreciate being singled out as having an "attitude" when all I did was post the truth one time. I didn't realize that posting the truth would cause WWIII, and I haven't responded to any of Melissa's rude replies because I am not on here to harm people. The truth is the truth, and passing along false information is harmful. As one with endo who comes to this forum to discuss treatment and offer support, I was only clearing up something that was clearly false so that the women on this forum are armed with correct information when they go to their doctors.

I hope that everyone on this forum can get over this without forgetting that there are only 4 stages of endo, and staging has NOTHING to do with the amount of pain a women feels. That is not an attack on anyone, it is the TRUTH.

God Bless
