Do we not have enough challenges in our lives without this kind of nonsense? Give it a rest already. There are 4 stages of endometriosis. The staging is done based upon the PATHOLOGY of the disease not the patient's perception of pain. Stage 1 endo can hurt just as bad as stage 2, 3 or 4 and vice-versa all the way around. Pain is subjective and has no bearing on the staging of the disease. There are good internet sites where you can count on getting real, factual, scientific and current information and two of them host this forum. http://www.obgyn.net and http://www.endometriosiszone.org I challenge Melissa, Kristina, and anyone else involved in this stupid, childish argument to go find an article from either website and share what you learn here with the rest of the group.
