Re: New techniques for Endo treatment?

I TOO HAD 3 LAPS, 2 CHILDREN AND THE ENDO CAME BACK. ON DEC 9TH I HAD
MY 4TH LAP WITH AN ENDO SPECIALIST. RATHER THAN VAPORIZATION, HE ALSO
EXCISED THE ENDO. THIS IS WHEN THEY "CUT IT OUT". VERY SIMILAR TO
REMOVING CANCER. GET THE DISEASED TISSUE OUT AND A LITTLE MORE. I'VE
READ THAT ENDO CAN BE FOUND UP TO 3CM DEEP AND VAPORIZATION ALONE WON'T
GET THE UNDERGROUND ENDO.
TOO SOON TO TELL, BUT I FEEL REALLY GOOD ABOUT MY DECISION.
I ALSO HAD A SUPRA-CERVICAL HYSTERECTOMY. THIS IS WHEN THEY TAKE THE
UTERUS AND LEAVE THE CERVIX. PROVIDES MORE SUPPORT, BETTER FOR
INTERCOURSE. THEY ALSO REMOVED MY LEFT OVARY AND TUBE. THE WEIRD THING
IS THAT MY RIGHT SIDE HAS NEVER BEEN TOUCHED BY THE ENDO AND THIS IS WHY
I KEPT THAT SIDE. THIS ALSO ELIMINATES HRT.
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER QUESTIONS.

THE SURGERY IN DECEMBER WAS WITH DR. ANDREW COOK IN LOS GATOS, CA.
HOPE THIS HELPS!!
