I used to be on prozac...a few weeks of taking that, my dr states that I have high bllood pressure. I thought it was so odd, because I have always had great blood pressure..except when I was pregnant it went up high... he stated that because of this (getting high blood pressure in pregnancy), that I should start on high blood pressure meds. I refused, because I really did not think I had high blood pressure. I was thinking that it was my meds. I was feeling well enough to go off of them, so I asked my dr, how I can safely go off of the prozac. I did that, and suddenly my blood pressure is back to normal I did the research on prozac and come to find out that hypertension is one of the less common side effects. I feel great being off of it, and wish I really never staaarted it. I just wanted you guys to know what some meds can do to your body. beth
