I think something that's important to note, something that I just found
out from my doctor is that yes, lupron can be pretty destructive when
it's not paired with anything else. He's a pretty reputable specialist
and he prescribed that I take Aygestin concurrently to counteract bone
loss and other difficulties. Unfortunately possible side effects of the
aygestin are irratibility and constipation-- nothing's easy. Anyway, I
can't comment on the personal long term effects of this as I just
started the meds, but this is what I was told when I brought up concerns
about Lupron. A little background info: I'm 22, a stage IV, and might
be facing surgery number 2 after a duration of about 2 months. Here's
hopin that my doc is right!
