mirenaFrom: bkemnitz (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Dec 28 07:31:56 2004
I got the mirena yesterday insertion was painful, today though i feel GREAT. i am hoping this helps with pain control. it sounds like this is my last option before a hysterectomy. I am praying this helps. I feel I am done with trying to conceive again, it really takes a damper on your sex life. I am not willing to do that again. too stressful trying to conceive...we tried with my son for many years. found out I had endo had it excised, got pg within a week. tried with my daughter for six months, and my doctor knoing I have endo was able to give me clomid after six months. conceived on first try with clomid. it is darn right stressful and painful trying to conceive. I am blessed with my two children. I feel incredibly great knowing I have brought two children into the world. I believe I don't want any more...I am still able to keep my options open though with mirena...I am praying to God to allow me to live a somewhat pain free life. I am tired of living in so much pain. I also just got off my ssri. this had caused my bp to increase to a high level...now it is back to normal thank the lord. I am on amitryptile also for chronic pelvic pain. i don't know if this is helping, but I amnot willing to get off of it because I am still better off than I was a year ago in relation to my pain. when I get back to the point of the terrible pain from a year ago, maybe I will consider it. I just wanted to share my story...hope it may help anyone who has experienced simmilar stories... beth
