Hi Kari, first of all i think it's ok to call your dr. when you have concerns, thats what they are there for, also, endo is known to be genetic. I haven't found anyone in my family who's had it but I have read a lot of info on it. Not everyone experiences endo the same way, some have it worst then others. But asking your dr. can give you better answers. And lastly, a D & C is short for dilation and curettage, which means when they scrap the lining of your uterus also known as the endometrium...Its ok to feel the way you do only cause this disease has little answers but a lot of unknown questions. Its best to take it day by day and ask all the questions you need...no one will hate you for that.
