Re: Is there any hope to get pregnantFrom: Melanie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Nov 30 12:53:36 2004
Hi Shirin. I'm sorry you are having such a rough time today. My story is similar to yours in that I am 33 years old and never knew I had endo until I was 31. I didn't have the pain that so many women suffer from...only bad period cramps that I thought were normal for me. I had a laparotomy to remove 4 endometriomas from my ovaries. I had tons of adhesions and scarring in there. Amazing that I had no idea. I felt healthy and didn't know a thing. I have basically been trying get pregnant for a year. I'm about to get my period and that will start cycle 12 for me. I get so depressed sometimes. But try to keep the faith. I'm not giving up yet even though it is so hard! There are so many women with endo who do get pregnant. Have you had the HSG test yet that tests whether your fallopian tubes are open? That might be the next step for you. Good luck!
