Re: blood in stool and anal bleeding--VERY scared: Question for Holly

anna,

the surgery was a normal cautery. there were several endo lesions, but the one in the cul-de-sac was probably the one causing all the stuff. i had excision about 7 months later, but there wasn't anything in the cul-de-sac that time (and i didn't have any bowel problems that time either). it's been about 2 years since the first cautery, and the bowel problems started to come back about 4 or 5 months ago. they aren't every month like it used to be. that's a good thing. instead, it's been every other month. and it's not nearly as bad as it used to be. i did do lupron for 3 months between surgeries, but had to stop because of some unusual side effects. that's why my gyn did the excision.

my gyn did both surgeries. i'm in the dallas/fort worth area. so there are docs around here who do excision and who are pretty good at treating this. right now, i'm waiting for my period to show so i can start yasmin and keep this stuff from getting worse.

(((((hugs))))) hope i've been able to help you.
