Hi, I had my first lap in Feb 2003 and my second this year in March, and i have been careful with my diet cutting down on dairy and meat and hardly ever need to take pain relief these days which is brilliant. Downside is painful intercourse. I did suffer a little pain prior to the previous ops, but now it is much worse. So much so I try to avoid it which is difficult when you are in a happy and loving relationship! But I am lucky that I have such an understanding hubby. Is this endo related? My doctor thinks it is and I'm due to see the consultant next week but I can't stand the thought of having another painful lap, the 1st one was fine but the second one was terrible as I was in so much pain after the op with swelling and bloating and general discomfort.
