I'm having my first lap on Tuesday and am feeling a mixture of anxiety and relief. I've found all the tips and suggestions here to be so helpful; but I have 1 question: Is it okay to have my period during the surgery? My dr. has me on a cycle where I go 3 months w/o a period using BCP. The timing would be right, but I can always start another pack. THe nurse said I should be at the begining of my cycle.
