hello everyone, I've posted acouple of times and no one seems to repond but thats ok. I had my last lap on the 27th of october, things seem to be going much better, although I had an emergency laparotomy a week and a half later because the doctor left a staple in my stomache after taking my appendix out during my laporoscopy. So needless to say I've had a real tough month. But the good news is I think the endometriosis is gone for the time being. I had my very first period since and it wasn't at all as painful as it was before. This has been a tough road, and unfortunatly because of the endo I was given pain meds to eliminate the pain, that started a year ago. and even though the pain is gone I'm finding myself still having to take them everyday. I know I'm addicted but now that I don't have to worry about the pain anymore I can work on getting off of those. I haven't really confronted the problem yet, I know I have one so I guess that is the first step. Everytime I work up the courage to stop something happens to my health and I HAVE to start taking them again. Like the last time I was gonna stop I ended up in the ER for the staple. Hopefully now thats all done and I can go on living a normal life......... Sorry I'm babbling I just needed to get this off my chest.
