Reply: Kim: "Re: Anyone on Methadone?" I made the switch today from MS Contin to Methadone, my pain mgmt doc said I don't have to taper off of MS Contin which kinda worried me. He said I may have slight withdrawals but they shouldn't be too bad. I took my first Meth tablet (10 mg) about 2 hrs ago and am feeling nauseas now. I'm not sure if it's from the medication or a migraine I've been fighting but I took a phenergan so I should be feeling better soon enough. I have the next 4 days off for the holiday so I figured this would be a good time to make the switch. If I am going to go through withdrawals or side effects from the new drug, I hope I feel good enough to return to work on Monday because I don't have much sick time at work!! Any advice or experiences would be much appreciated!!
