Hi Montele, I was misdiagnosed with PID numerous times as a teenager & young adult.I would be told it was PID & treated with antibiotics before the test results came back - the tests came back negative for STD's every time.I was not even sexually active at that time, but because I was a young, urban female with pelvic pain the assumption was that I must be sexually active.I didn't get diagnosed with endo until years later when cysts appeared & persisted on & in both ovaries and the Doctor finally decided to do a lap & see what was going on.Have you had a laparoscopy to diagnose endo, or is the Doctor just telling you it may be endo based on your symptoms?
