Full old blood periodFrom: Renae (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Nov 23 11:47:01 2004
My last period does not fit the normal routine at all. Two months late (on micronor)25yrs old. There really was not any normal menstrual blood, just the "old blood" that normally comes intermittanly if I period. This time though it was 8 full days of heavy, brown, black, thick chunks with only a spot or two of regular blood per day. I am replacing the pad every 1-2 hrs since it is difficult for the pad to absorb what is coming out. My doctors have said in the past that I might have endometriosis, but I have never experieced this. I know I could not have been pregnant as I had to go through a pregnancy test before my chest x-ray for my melanoma diagnosis. Thank for your input -Renae
