Did the doctor mention Lupron, this drug places you in a menopause state. You may want to ask your doctor specifically what medication, look at all your options, do your research, yes there are side effects in any medication taken, you will hear positive and negative about drugs etc however you will need to decided what you think is best for you. I have had 4 surgeries and refuse treatment options, drugs etc. I weigh the short term relief to long term risk effects and found it is not worth subjecting myself to chemicals.

You really need to do your research and ask your doctor alot of questions! Wish you luck....
