Please read. I'm scared. Abnormal vaginal ultrasound. Endo coming back? Or something worse?

Hi. This is my first time here and I'm so glad to have stumbled upon this site. I am hoping someone can help me as I am in a full-on panic over several things. I'll try not to make it too long! I have stage 4 endo and had a laparotomy a year and 8 months ago that removed 4 huge endometriomas as well as tons of adhesions etc. My doctor said she never saw anything like it. I've been trying to conceive ever since. I went to a new doctor to discuss fertility and she wanted to give me a transvaginal ultrasound. She said my left ovary had an "irregular appearance". She was very vague and basically said she didn't know what it was and referred me to a radiologist to have a repeat ultrasound done on day 5 of my cycle. That's 3 weeks away and I'm so scared that this could be ovarian cancer. She said it wasn't a cyst, but what does that mean? What is an irregular appearance? She could not answer and neither could another doctor there. She also said the radiologist has better equipment and we can get a clearer picture. I didn't like their bedside manner and the way this all was delivered to me so I instead called the doctor who did my surgery and made the ultrasound appt with her. I figure she knows me best and I had a transvag US with her 6 months ago that was normal. But I can't get the cancer word out of my head. For the last year probably I always have a dull burning sensation in my pelvis and my upper thighs as well as back pain that goes down my leg a bit. Can these be endo symptoms coming back. Believe it or not, when I was diagnosed with the Stage 4 endo, I had no idea anything was even wrong, never felt a thing. She saw the endometrioma during an u/s. So I guess my questions are...has anyone had an abnormal finding on an ovary that turned out to be nothing? Could the symptoms I describe above (especially the burning legs) be part of endo even though I had no symptoms the first time? Can endo turn into cancer? I'm 33 years old and my maternal grandmother died of ovarian cancer when she was 64. Thanks for reading!
