Hi, I don't know how to post. I am responding to Heather's message. I don't know what to say-I am having a lot of problems after my first lap. I am so confused! I have not recovered at all and it has been 3 weeks. I suspected I had endo for years because I had painful periods, a ruptured ovarian cyst and irritable bowel syndrome but was never diagnosed. I was working a hectic schedule and got really run down three months ago. The pain became constant and severe-I couldn't work anymore. After seeing many docs I finally decided to have the laparoscopy for diagnosis and conservative treatement. I had day surgery on October 21st and was sent home to recover. The pain was pretty bad, but I did not to think I may have complications. The doc said I would need 2 weeks off work. He removed endo from my bladder, ligaments in my groin, ovaries, and uterus. He has an accent and I have trouble understanding what he says so I am not exactly sure what he did. At my 2 week post surgery check-up he said I had swollen lymph nodes in my groin and a localized infection. He said to wait it out another 2 weeks and come and get antibiotics if I got a fever. I was feeling so sick! Nauseus, weak etc. I waited at home for 4 days and finally went to an urgent care clinic. The doc gave me an antibiotic (ciprofoxacin hcl 1000mg/daily for 10 days) and toradol for pain. I had an ultrasound which found a new growth on the outer wall of uterus, multiple follicular cysts on an ovary and polyps in my gallbladder. He said I would be feeling better soon with antibiotics and pain meds. Now 4 days later, the pain seems to be getting worse again! It has been three weeks and a day since my laparoscopy and I feel terrible (can barely get around the house). I wish I never would have had the lap. What am I going to do? Rachel
