Re: Pelvic Pain/Endo-had lap 2 months ago

I'm in the same boat... I had my lap on Oct 8th and don't feel any
better yet either. I don't think my endo has grown back, I think it
takes quite a bit longer than 1-2 months, especially since I haven't had
a period since then (I'm on the mini pill). I did some research online
and it does seem that it can take several months to see the results from
a lap. I am hoping to see these results soon, I can't take much more of
the pain! I have been on MS Contin for the past 4 months but it doesn't
do much. My pain mgmt doc is going to switch me to Methadone if the lap
doesn't help. Being on narcotics for the rest of my life isn't my first
choice but it sure beats being in pain every day. I would have a
hysterectomy in a heartbeat if I knew for sure that it would make the
pain go away. In my case, the endo was on my left ovary, bladder,
scattered a little on my pelvic cavity and on my colon. The colon endo
bothers me the most so having a hyster won't do a darn thing for that!
